Post by Justonedude » 08 Nov 2018, 06:03

Hey guys, i need help wiring this cables, as you can tell by the pictures it´s a cheap active p-bass with poor quality pieces but it holds a special place on my heart since it was my 1st bass. So basically the wiring got torn apart and theres this 4 cables that got ripped off, i doesn´t seem like a hard wiring job, i just don´t really know where to rewire properly, so if you can help me out, i´d be grateful ehehe

Welcome! and your photo is not appearing. Sometimes photobucket has probs, but you'd need to say what you are using.
Check that you have a valid image address in between your two (square-bracket)IMG(square-bracket) delimiters?
Is it P pickup-pair only, or a P-J?
I see..............basses!

Don't use the [IMG], just copy and paste the URL directly.

Try this one? its from ebay - a 2 band bass pre

The pic shows the actual wires - pity it doesn't show where they come from on the preamp 'block'
More;

Different pin positions on the pre block, but you'll have to see if the colours match - you've got yourself a game of logic and process of elimination to work out where they go.....
I see..............basses!
