What Bazz said. I'm not going to let iTunes touch the 400 CDs I've ripped to mp3

Re: WTB: iPhone (Sydney)
how do you add music to your iphone.?
Admittedly mine was an iPhone3 that I had til last week, no other way to add music to it, and certainly not in WAV or MP3 format

Spotify, with Golden Ear playing FLAC natively off it's own file storage for the more localised esoteric options.

Re: WTB: iPhone (Sydney)
I for one am perfectly happy with my iPhone and iTunes. Over 12,000 songs, playlists for different projects I'm in, and easy connection to car stereo via Bluetooth. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Apparently other people's mileage varies ... .

Michael

Re: WTB: iPhone (Sydney)
then you can pay for the local storage and all your time. These are choices.
I use an android phone and an iphone every day. Much of the sentiment above seems unjustified.

Re: WTB: iPhone (Sydney)
Historically, going back with iTunes to the second generation iPod, iTunes has a pretty poor track record from me over the years on Windows. I've tried quite a few times and gave up for good about 4 years back. I'm sure it's all good now though just as I packed it in...

Re: WTB: iPhone (Sydney)
iTunes on window, as far as I can tell, was written on a dare. That said, iTunes with an actual computer has been something nobody has done mcuh for a while. Even with google play, folks can upload their own music and then have it In The Cloud/On the Line etc.

Re: WTB: iPhone (Sydney)
Spotify on my iPhone works fine for me. I can also add local content such as rehearsal/gig recordings etc as playlists without hassle.
