FS FT Genz Benz NEOX 212T 600 Watts 4ohm SOLD

Post by FunkyJase » 06 Jul 2018, 13:52

I bought this from a guy on Facebook - Cant remember the name and I have no idea if he's on Ozbass but if he is he's welcomed to comment.

These cabs need no introduction really.

Its a front ported 212 and it's loud AF with huge bottom end strong mids and crisp highs. I used it on Saturday night and everyone wanted to know when I started using a 215 cab he he. Apparently it looks bigger on stage he he.

Loud and probably leaning more towards the "modern" sound. It's a great cab but Im really loving this Lab Systems 212 I have as it's leaning more towards the vintage sound.

It's in good condition for it's age and comes with a cover.
It had wheels on it but I took them off because one was wobbly. I still have them and they're easy enough to replace if you want to replace the wobbly one... Oh and the tweeter control knob on the back went missing before I acquired it so I added a chicken head.

$550.
Can arrange delivery outside of sunny, tropical Melbourne but at your cost...

Will trade for something smaller of the same value. 212, 212, 112 or even a half decent combo...
On the off chance that someone has a nice straight Jazz Bass neck to offer - Im all ears

A friend of mine has used this cab seemingly forever and it consistently sounds great. Also incredibly light for it's size and projects amazingly well.

Great cabs these. I use it on 90% of my gigs. I don't use the wheels on mine, a Bunnings folding trolley moves it around nice and easily

The handles are well located for getting it in and out of the boot of the car too.

Yeah the wheels are a good idea but not as practical as a fold up trolley.

Echoing everyone elses sentiments here, previously owned 1 and sold it only to go through 7 cabs before buying 1 of these again. My only cab now and a great balance of loud/light/functional, and somewhat hard to come by IMO

Off hold.
I've spent a day doing an A/B test on my cabs and the Lab Systems one is a clear winner for me :-)
I dont think a different amp will change that. When you know, you know... you know?
