NBD - Schecter Siletto Studio 5

Post by CamZH » 14 Jun 2018, 12:46

Hi All,
Recently decided that I should add a 5er to the stable,
Had one many years ago and one of those things I regret selling.

Was in the US for work this month so whet shopping while I was there (ok, so I had ordered it and just collected it from the local GC)
Figured I'd grab a case while I was at it and wasnt much extra for the matching/fitted case.

So far pretty happy with it, feels nice, string spacing is nice and tight. Pickups are somewhat confusing, they are EMG-HZ but the logo on them suggests they are active.

Looks like this:

Very nice!

these Schecters are really hard to fault. I had a Diamond P5 and it was built like a tank and sounded great - very agressive and growly midrange tones. It set up very nicely and sounded great live.

My only problem with it was the weight. I think it was about 11 pounds!

This is my 3rd Schecter bass, so pretty ok with their products.
Havent weighed this one, but doesnt seem too heavy.
I've got a Stargazer, which is an ash body, that thing is pretty heavy, but sounds great !

I've got one of these in black. Which I don't use any more and am happy to sell.
