FS: Ashdown Big Boy 1x15 220W Bass Combo Amp

Post by Fredbass » 11 Jun 2018, 17:24

Selling my Ashdown 5x15 as I recently purchased a Fender rumble 500.

It is an awesome little combo. 1x15'' and 220w through the internal speaker.

It is really loud and I would say it is as loud as my newly acquired Fender combo. It is also really light at 17.5kg.

Asking $350 firm. Pick up North West Sydney.

Looks like it'll take an extension cab, yes? 8 ohm ext spkr socket there on the rear right?

The internal speaker is 4ohms.

It takes an extension cab from 4ohm.

It is wired for series operation. So if you connect a 4ohm cab you will be running the amp at 8ohms.

There is a swich to turn off the internal speaker and run only with a external cab. In the case above it would be 4ohm.

Offers?

I may have to move the Fender rumble 500 combo if this doesn't sell.

Price Reduction: $300 ONO.

This is the 220W, not the 100W. Plenty of power.

Hi Fred, the MF site specs say it's only 7.5kg. Do you think that's a typo?
Cheers,
Tim

Ashdown list it as 17kg. Looks like MF is a typo.
