I had a chance to play the prototype of this bass ... it was damn nice. Very comfortable neck impressive instrument. The one I played had different pickups with some weird switching which I'd love to be able replicate.

Played a Cole Clark 4 string at Bass Centre this morning, and can confirm that they are indeed excellent and full of amazing tone :yep

If I was in the market for a bass, which I'm not, it would be very hight on the list. Feels nice, sounds nice and very reasonably priced.
