Behaviour on this forum.
Some of you may have seen the comments on a particular sales thread yesterday. I had to warn a user about the forum rules as he was breaching them, this user decided to keep piling it on and after some thread cleaning from me, decided to start a thread about how the mod team "badly mistreated him". That user is now permanently banned.
Guys, at the end of the day the Forum Behavioural Rules are here for a reason and that is to keep things polite and enjoyable for everyone. Nobody wants to see his sales thread questioned or get insulted because someone else doesn't agree with him. If we let people like this go ahead and bully other people on the forum things will just get out of hand and this forum will go the way of other ones where its just not nice to hang out anymore. As much as I don't like banning anyone, trouble makers will be banned.
PLEASE everyone read the forum rules, I know its a bit long winded and like any other software documentation out there no one wants to waste his time reading it but the rules are pretty straightforward, be nice to everyone and sales threads are not discussion threads, their purpose is to sell an item. If you don't like anything about that sale or don't plan on making an offer then stay away from it. You can use the flag features on posts if you see someone breaching the rules which will send a warning to the Mod team to look into it. We're always happy to do that.

Whoa, what did I miss? Whoever this person was, I'd say they probably weren't one of the long time regulars, and they've missed the point of Ozbass. You did the right thing Phil. The last thing we want is for this place to resemble that "American based forum where bass is talked about".

Re: Behaviour on this forum.
I saw the early stages (in transit, on the Autobahn or on planes, for the rest) and didn't have the best feeling. Obviously swift action to the benefit of the regular users - hat off to you, moderators.

Michael

Adding my thanks to Phil and the mods. This is a great forum, and there's a lot of work you all put in to keep it so. It's very much appreciated.

Wow, missed the excitement!
I must say, I've never seen anything untoward on this forum, a credit to all the fine folk that make up the forum and the amin that run it ... Jaco bless you all ... sorry, make that Jamerson bless you all, He is the bass God I follow, blessed be thy name.
