Angry B
Just thought I'd chime in here; I've been using a B-Drive with Angry Anderson over the last few weeks, & it's pretty much tuned out to be my favorite Bass OD. I was after something to just grind up the sound a bit without altering the tone too much. The B does exactly that, without altering the tone at all!!

BASSES: Spector; Fender; Yamaha; G&L; Alembic; Ibanez; Jerry Jones; Danelectro; Rickenbacker; Ergo; ESP; Kraken; DeArmond.
AMPS: Acoustic; Ashdown; Ampeg; Eden; Epifani; Markbass

Re: Angry B
So you're running Angry Anderson through a B-Drive?? I would of thought his voice was already over driven enough?
Seriously though that's a pretty neat gig to have.

I really liked the growl the B Drive gave my Jazz bass with EMG's....
What sort of bass & bass rig are you running for that show Dash? Pics?

Re: Angry B
Thanks for the comps guys.
Ango is great to work with; pretty damn good when you consider he's not that far off 70 & still nailing the stuff in the original keys!
This rig shot was taken at a local Melbourne gig before I got the B-Drive. When I travel I just take the Spector with the B-Drive & an EBS Comp.

For a lot of the time it's the same with me; a Spector with EMGs. Sometimes I'll use an old P-Bass or a Yamaha BBN5A as well. The rig actually varies a lot, as most of the jobs are in NSW so I'm using hire rigs. For my own rig, I mostly use either an Acoustic 320 or an Eden WT-550 through Bergantino Cabs (for larger jobs I'll use both heads). However the tone & response I'm getting from the B-Drive is pretty constant across the board through all the rigs I've used it for so far.BassLine wrote:I really liked the growl the B Drive gave my Jazz bass with EMG's....
