TC RS210 & RS112

Post by yusufsusanto » 17 Oct 2018, 10:38

Hi all,

I have TC Head RH750 and Cab RS210. I would like to add another cab TC RS112 for more bottom end and extra volume. Has anyone had any experience with this set up? I had the opportunity to buy RS212 but didnt take it after I read that RS212 will over power the 210, plus I prefer 112 for portability.

I play with a loud drummer and with 210 sometimes I could not hear my low B clearly. I am wondering if RS112 is the right choice considering the cab is only 200 watt.

Thanks

TB will kill you if you mix speaker sizes hehe

Lots of bassists will tell you differently.

In essence, both cabs will get the same power from the amp, so a 112 will get double the power that each 10 will get in the 210. Whether this will sound good or not will be up to your ears in the end.

A berg 210 and 112 stack is very popular, so it might work?

Thanks for the advice! theoretically it should work considering the cabs are from the same brand. I was not really convinced when I tried the 112 on its own, lacking punch & power. I might consider adding 210 instead.

Thanks mate, I decided to go with 112. I will see how it goes live this weekend.
