Hi all,
kind of interested in a 2 x 112 stack.
Wondering if anyone has had experience with the Peavey Headliner 112 or Avatar SB112?
I know they are on the cheaper end of the scale but I can't see myself spending 1K on each cab to see if I like the idea.
Any thoughts? Ideas?
Cheers,
Mark

I had a pretty extensive look around the Brisbane based guitar shops for cabs at the start of year and none of them had Peavey cabs. I was curious about the headliner range but even Talkbass doesn't have much info on them.
I didn't think Avatar was sold on Australia so you may not get much answers here.

Hey Mark,
Maybe talk to Matt at Riffs and Licks in Newstead, he worked at Allans/Billy Hyde at Windsor before they shut down and I know they stocked Peavey. I've got a feeling he will tell you the current Peavey stuff is crap.
Would have to agree with Blizzard that the Avatar cabs are made in the USA and not sold here but I could be wrong....
Alternatively you could probably grab some Aggie GS112's for $500 to $600 each? I had two of these with an LM2 amp a while back but didn't quite move enough air for what I was doing at the time.
Hope that helps somewhat.

Not much info about either the I can see.
Ahoy Craig,
yep, I'd be seeing Matty about the Peaveys.
There is a seller in Frankston, Vic who sells the Avatars

Haven't had a reply about shipping as yet.
I'll keep an eye out for Aggies, prefer a neo cab if i can

I thought Avatar were a pure mail-order company. That would explain them being here in people's backlines but never in shops.

I have two cabins SB112 Neo and B210 Neo, an incredibly flexible pairing.
It's a good rehearsal cab.
