That’s not the house rig I remember at Mr. Boogieman Bar. But it looks very nice.

32 8 inch drivers and an Ampeg B2 for power, I’m not running the rack effects or EQ’s . Straight from my pedal board to the Ampeg. The Bass will be heard tonight, actually most of Melbourne will hear the bass tonight

Shame about the B2 :D I have always wanted to play through a huge wall of PJ speakers though.
PS. Those are 5 inch drivers, but still... there's 32 of them.

4x5" speakers = 1x10" surface area.
So 32x5" is equivalent to 8x10".
That's still a big sound.

Did you like the rig?

Another band, Mark,

I’ve played there before (hence my first comment).

The rig belongs to Kirk from Kilamaine and sounded massive, it had a scooped sound to it but that was more likely the EQ on the Ampeg. I play a down tuned 5 string and had masses of low end but the high end was a little harsh. Kirk tells me that this is caused by my active pickups and that the cabs prefer a passive bass. It sat very well in the mix and looks very very impressive.
