A taxi ride would probably only be about $10 from the gig to home, just depends on if I can get my amp in the back of it.

on the subject of "latest toys"...I just received a Behringer TO800 in the mail (Behringer's Copy of the Ibanez Tube Screamer TS808)...I haven't tried it, yet...should be interesting...

no I didn't get it for my bass ...but it would be interesting to see how it sounds with the bass...I'm planning on running it into my Zoom B2.1u with the zoom set up in it's "TU" (tube) driver mode.

Hmm, if that was the 60kg trolley there must be a 90kg trolley that I missed at Bunnings. The drummer in the band I played with tonight had one, and it was a bit bigger than mine. More importantly, the handle extended about 30cm further than on my one, which was bugging me the whole way from home this morning.

If you are going to get a fold up trolley, make sure you get the biggest one with the black wheels. Usefulness factor ++

$20 red trolley from Supercheap (doesn't fold up though :( ) - good for ~100kgs.

One load for my amplification, one for the basses... :D

test run the TO800 last night...works great!....

sounds just like a TS808 to me, I seriously can't tell the difference only that it's about 1/5 the price :)

ok...so the quality suffers a bit...but it's great for me, I only gig my guitar about 1/month if that.

I can't wait to try it on a bass...

Spent $48 on a cab yesterday from Lidcombe back home to Cammeray because the train tracks had failed. Stupid State Transit! Stupid rip off merchant cabby drivers! *Grumble grumble grumble*

Only one gripe with mine, I find the handle too short as the centre of gravity is a bit low so I feel like I'm bending down to move it along..Other than that, brilliant!
