Hey there all, here are some of my basses. I own around 15 + bass guitars, including (from the top of the picture), 2015 Ric 4003, 1972 Fender P, 1978 Pre-EB MM, and 1968 Fender J. Out of all my basses, my favorite is a Korean Fender Jazz 24 fret bass (not pictured) - it was a cheap bass to buy off of ebay. Funny how expensive sometimes doesn't mean better. I am currently trying to track down a Wal bass, so let me know if you know of one that is for sale.
Thanks
Bronze

My new fretless bass. The look of confusion on my face is "what was I thinking having an unlined fretboard". A thought I've often had since bringing this home.

Sorry Drew , I stole your photo.

Great opportunity to develop that "finger-ear" co-ordination, Pete.

What an absolute stunner of a bass though.

Michael

Turn off the lights & play along to songs you haven't learned yet. Fastest way to get comfy with fretless.

Hi bronze, Ive scoured every website over the past month or so and though i was not looking for a Wal bass they always did catch my eye. The only one i remember specifically was a fretless 4 string, but its for sale in the US.

Not a "real" gig but the year-end concert performance of our garage band currently named "FRED". We played pretty well and had fun. I played "Old Favourite", my Tokai Hard Puncher 1980's P copy.

Thanks Owen!

Supplied backline unfortunately. I would have much preferred the Walkabout.

Sorry Drew , I stole your photo.

LOL my pleasure Pete. I have prepared a corner in my bass room for when you become too overwhelmed by your foolish innovation of the lack of frets and you decide to give it to me.
