FS PARTY/TRAVEL UKE - SOLD

Post by narcdor » 22 Jan 2016, 22:43

Bunch of non bass stuff for sale, pics at the end. Seeing as I haven't played any of them in over a year I decided to put them up for sale. All located in Melbourne, inner north.

First up, Fender Tele MIM $700 Reduced to $600 - SOLD

My MIM 69 Thinline Telecaster in fantastic all original condition, single owner. The burst finish is full of character. It's from about 2004-2005 and plays and sounds fantastic, like a shining bell. Can get a little bright with the 500k tone pot but I just roll it back a little to taste. Beautiful feel and shape to the gloss neck. Comes with the Fender stap, Gator hard case and whatever else is in the case right now. Has some aging to some pickguard screws and saddle screws on the bass side.

Second, Gibson Les Paul Traditional made in USA in 2008 $1850 - SOLD

All original in great condition, had it since new. Sounds and plays great, some minor marks from use, never abused and always stored in the hard case. Blacker than black finish and beautiful cream binding etc. Only some minor buckle marks on the surface of the back, and a few very tiny marks which I have tried to show (headstock edge, body front), and my forearm has worn the sheen to a satin on the front edge. My mate who used to check Gibson guitars for the distributor when they came into the country says it's "one of the good ones" whatever that means. He's played a zillion so I guess he would know.

Third, Lanikai CKS Soprano Uke $150

Showroom condition uke with hard case, not a scratch on it. Almost never used! Beautiful koa top makes it look great, my playing makes it sound horrible as I'm crap at uke. Yes that is a tiny dot on the fretboard of a sticker used to try and teach someone to play it.

Sorry forgot all about this... dishwasher emergency that evening.

It's showing pretty bang on for G and A, a little bit sharp on C and E on the highest fret, maybe 5 cent out? I was recommended to buy some nice strings for it to hold tuning better which may help I never got them as it wasn't used enough to outlay more.
