Making a sound track

I am experimenting with I am imagining the sound track segment to a sci movie. Imagine the scene: a squad of space marines have entered a derelict ship and are walking down the a hallway lit by flickering lights. There is water dripping from old pipes. Upon entering the ship, the derelict vessel's main power came on-line.

The track is incomplete, as an alien eats one of the space marines mid song and there will be a fire fight.

The thump sound is made by hitting my bass body with my fist, with the distortion thanks to the Octa-Bass pedal. The next thump-thump part on top is using a B-Drive for a tingle of dirt.

Odd. The link should lead to an openly shared mp3 on my Google Drive. Has anyone been able to open it?

I am going to record one of my boys screaming. :)

I have often thought it would be cool to record the sound effects for things like radio dramas and animations.

It's very interesting, I really like it. To me it is very reminiscent to Queens soundtrack for Flash, with the unusual sounds and atmosphere. That was the first thing I thought of when I listened to it haha. And I mean that in a good way... ;)
