Caeman's Guide to Cave Passive Pedal Acronyms

Post by caeman » 23 Apr 2012, 22:15

To aid in the "cool" factor of any product, being able to address it with an acronym enhances the perceived coolness of nearly any product. It implies that the product is so "in" and awesome, that one need only refer to it by a simple word, much like certain music artists being known by just one name. To aid in this "cool-ifying" of Cave pedals, here is the list of acronyms you can use to impress your friends and make those those who don't know ask. :D

BMR: Bass Ming-Rodulator
OB: Octa-Bass
BD: B-Drive
SW: Separate Ways
SG: Super Grunt
FT: Furry Tongue
G2: Grunt Mk. II

The Wasp is already one word, so attempts to shorten it further might be perceived as pathetic. ;)

So, there you go. To differentiate between Mk. versions, just add a number to end, for an even higher level of cool. Instant marketing success!

This has been a public service of Caeman, who had a bit too much free time on his hands to even ponder writing a message like this for your amusement. :peep:

thats the old model Mark.
They dont make the "Aussie Mark" anymore.

They had a few problems with it like,
if you turned your back to it , it would drink your rider
If you left it behind, it was sure to talk about you to the rest of the band
always wanted to go into slap mode for no apparent reason

still highly sort after on TB though
