OzBass Subsitute Register

Post by Rude_Mechanical » 16 Mar 2009, 20:40

The intention of this thread is to provide a hopefully concise list of bassists who may be available to fill in for gigs. Specific gig opportunities should go in other threads - any really funny 'Bassist Wanted' listings can be shared in their own thread: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2890 :)

Format should be similiar to:
First name & mobile number
Geographical area covered
Main style(s) played
Main bass & amp
Effects: yes/no
Vocals: yes/no

Plus any other pertinent info you can offer.

Please don't choke up the thread with replies, quotes updates etc. Just one post, to be edited when details change. If you need somebody's services, send them a PM or text.

0424 464 610

Been gigging since '79.

Blues, Classic Rock, Country, 50's/'60's Rock'n'roll, Folk/Roots. Plus a bunch of other stuff - faux Jazz ( I can play through changes okay, but don't consider my self a jazzer), Reggae, etc.

Equipment would be whatever's appropriate to the gig (I've a bunch of stuff - Fender Precision, Fender Jazz, a custom made Formentin Jazz style with EMG's, Hamer Cruisebass, Aguilar Head, MarkBass cabs).

Good vocals.

If you need a Justin Beiber lookalike you might want to call somebody else.
