Door to door interstate in 24 hours being the best, leaving an amp on the street outside my apartment building on a main road being the worst. All depends on the local guy it seems.

It's worth paying the extra couple of dollars for signed delivery so they can't just leave it on your front door step if nobody is home

Front door step is not a same-same comparison, the mailboxes are inside the building! Imagine they left it on the footpath outside your house and that's close, now imagine you live on Elizabeth St in Surry Hills and you're there.

I take your point and have started doing that since. Mostly I am just frustrated by the high incidence of stupid actions in everyday life, like this example. Does nobody think or take pride in their work? It's incredible to me people behave like this whatever the reason.
