STOP THIEF!!!!!
We had the unfortunate pleasure of providing this bloke with our time and service only to be rewarded by him stealing this bass from us this afternoon. Its a Stingray 4 HH, Electric Blue # E74134. He was wearing a orange fluro workers shirt and shorts. If anyone knows him or sees him playing it at a gig....or has the unfortunate pleasure of having to hear his aweful lack of musicality........call us.
Thanks

I heard tell of a guy that robbed a Megamart (Harvey Norman) store of a plasma screen TV that was BOLTED DOWN. Just walked in with an empty TV box, got out the spanner & removed the bolts, packed the screen up and walked out. Had it all on tape - not one member of staff approached him at any point.

Unbelievable! Surely the police are going to catch him with that security footage. When are they going to make high-res security recorders? They are always a tad bit blurry.
I have a friend who owns a retail store and she had someone walk out with her handbag that was stowed under the counter, while the staff were distracted (probably intentionally).
At my previous workplace, they came in separately (the distractor and the thief) - ask a million questions and keep the staff busy and helpful, while the thief CRAWLED on the floor into the staff room and stole all the wallets and purses (caught on security camera but too fuzzy to identify clearly).

They already do,
But the costs involved are rather high.

In Sydney most of the speed cameras are covered by Mobotix cameras.
They are capable of 3megapixel images.

But one camera will probably cost more than a whole system that most retail places have.

It's probably a long shot, but:
ATTN all Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney musicians and lovely fans.

Mike's Synth was stolen from My Fiction's jam room sometime between October 4th and 10th. He was done all the right steps in contacting the police and various music repair and retail stores.

The loss is a great blow to him sentimentally and financially, but most importantly in crafting not only My Fiction's sounds, but that of his own sound art, design and project career.

We are asking all of you to spread the word around Brisbane and also down south - this synth is rare and is not in production anymore. Here are it's details:

KORG MS2000B Analogue Modeling Synthesizer
Charcoal Black in colour.
Stolen along with BlueCat Custom made Flight case, midi cable and power cable.
Serial number 004218

It looks like this:

Again, this is a rare synth, and to date we have not been aware of any other musician in Brisbane using one apart from Mike.

Any information you might have on it's whereabouts please contact Mike through this event wall or on our page wall.

Thank you all for spreading the word good people.
Dream as if you'll live forever, live like you'll die today.

Slolen recently was my Warwick Pro Series Swamp Ash Corvette 5-string. Stolen out of my car a week before my birthday in Mt Martha, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. This beautiful axe was my pride and joy, and I was just on my way to a recording session when it was taken. It was taken out of its case, which was left behind.

Hey Rick, Sorry about your bass. The photo content is currently unavaliable. You may want to upload the photos to photobucket or somewhere other than facebook.
