SOLD: Bergantino CN212 & Rusty Box Preamp (Darkglass Withdrawn)

Post by kodou » 08 Apr 2018, 11:13

So despite loving this rig I have just realised that I really do enjoy playing my tube amps and ceramic speaker cabs more. I don't particularly need to sell this but could put the money towards something more productive than gear that doesn't get the use it deserves.

So despite my back hating me for moving this on, here it goes.

1) Darkglass Microtubes 900

Featuring the awesome B3K and Vintage circuits from the Darkglass pedals and the clean preamp of the B7K, this 900 watt @ 4 ohms amp is the swiss army knife of amps. Able to output 900 watts @ 4ohm or 500 watts @ 8ohm (or switch to 2ohm mode and output 900 @ 2ohm, 500 @ 4ohm and 350 @ 8ohm) this amp can be used with pretty much any backline cab you come across. Awesome built in and footswitchable distortion circuit allows you to go from mild boost to dirty overdrive all the way to thick modern or vintage distortion. Also has post/pre DI out for running to a desk or recording interface.

2) Bergantino CN212 - 4ohm 700 watt cab

As loud as it is light, this is an awesome cab. I can carry this in one hand, my pedal board in the other and the Darkglass in my gig bag for a one trip load in/load out. I've used this at a few venues and it always projects perfectly. Really balanced lows and mids with adjustable horn for the highs. Few surface smudges but no tears or damage. Sounds amazing with absolutely no speaker fatigue. The Bergantino label did come loose (glue shook off I imagine). I still have the label I just never bothered re-fitting it.

Specs:
SPEAKERS | 2×12 Custom Neodymium drivers with 7oz magnets, 1” tweeter
CROSSOVER | Phase coherent with tweeter level control
CONNECTIONS | 2 x ¼ jack and 2 x neutrik (parallel)
POWER | 700W RMS
FREQUENCY RESPONSE | 30Hz to 20kHz
IMPEDANCE | 4 Ohms
DIMENSIONS | (HxWxD) 790 x 460 x 380mm
WEIGHT | 20kg

3) Tronographic Rusty Box

Modelled after the Traynor TS-50B as used famously by Bob Weston of Shellac, the Rusty Box can be used as an effects pedal or to run a power amp or send direct to the FOH desk. This pedal provides ample clean, boosted or dirty as hell signal. It was between this or the Darkglass Alpha Omega but the AOU won out in the end. Comes with original box and AUS power supply.

I will sell any of the items individually however if the amp or cab sell by themselves I will withdraw the rest and keep them.

Split prices would be:

Darkglass MT900 - $1100
Bergantino CN212 - $1100
Rusty Box - $230

I will consider shipping if the buyer organises the courier. Rusty Box will be $15 shipped anywhere.

Rusty Box and Bergantino are now sold.

I've withdrawn the Darkglass for use as my backup head.

Thanks guys!

Crap I just realised I actually forgot to put the price in for the whole rig.

It was $2,250 for everything or $2,100 for the amp and cab.

Bit redundant now however.

PM’d you about the Darkglass earlier if you reconsider selling it.
