FS/FT Yamaha BB1025x - WITHDRAWN

Post by ozrider » 09 Jun 2018, 10:51

I am putting up for sale my BB1025x. Some great sound samples available on youtube (see below). I imported this from a guy in the US on TB. These models are discontinued. There are newer and cheaper models available but this model was the same spec as the 2025 series out of Japan (only thing different was the vibration treatment - tone mojo of a played bass :rolf: ).

This bass is 2011 from what I can gather as Yamaha recycle their serial numbers every decade. It comes with a rosewood fingerboard that you can't get due to the CITES regulations that came in this year - I snuck it in, don't judge me! :peep:

The bass comes with a basic gig bag. Cost me $1`100 to land this, price is firm at $950 ono. I have not been using it, it needs to find a new home. I am happy to work with the buyer for shipping as it lives in WA. Currently strung with la bella flats E-G, and SIT silencer (semi flat wound) on the low B - works better for cut through. I will get more pictures organised soon.

Yeah, I know, I'm playing it right now... it sounds great, bit of a spur of the moment thing... hence crappy pics. I saw tha TRB6P on here and figured I need a pot of cash the next time something nice comes along.

I've just about changed my mind! I'm terrible at this! :cry
