FS: 2011 Epiphone Thunderbird IV $600 ONO - pickup Redfern

Post by kat888 » 18 Feb 2018, 08:12

2011 Epiphone Thunderbird IV $600 - pickup Redfern (I won't ship without a HSC). I'm selling to make room after a recent purchase.

This Bird started life as a T-Bird PRO IV with active electronics, which all sounded like soggy cardboard. It has been entirely gutted, rewired and chromed with $500 worth of after market parts.

> Mahogany and walnut 7ply neck through with transblack finish

> Slim taper neck profile

> EY Guitar Parts 'Chinabucker' vintage spec passive humbuckers (afaik these are the same as the ProBucker #760s in the Epi Vintage Pros as yet unavailable in Australia)

> CTS pots (volume - volume)

> Abalone speed knobs (two extra included for tone pots if required)

> Hipshot HB6 ultralight tuners

> A-style high mass quick release bridge

> Bone nut cut by Matt @ Saltmine Repairs

> Ken Smith Bass Burner medium .45 - .105 nickel roundwound strings

> Padded vinyl gig bag
