FS: Musicman Sabre Classic

Post by Heath » 02 Feb 2019, 14:01

First off, this is one of the best musicman’s I’ve played besides a neck through ray5, I love the musicman sound, but it just doesn’t work for me the way everything else I have does,

I bought this new last year? It was on the shelf in musos corner since 2012ish, foam mutes are as new, only scratches are on the pick guard from the usual slapping other than that it’s as new, same as the musicman hardcase as I always use my gator double bag, absolutely stunning Birdseye maple neck and fingerboard, I replaced with schaller strap locks too, I’m selling because I’m heading to Melbourne for my birthday in April and plan on coming back with something from the bass centre, so the proceeds from this will go towards a birthday pressure for me, so feel generous 😂

I’m asking $2200

If you have regular scales, can you weight it and yourself, the world seems plagued by scales that are silly with small weights.

Thanks!

She comes up 4.4kg on my kitchen scales, so it’s not into Warwick territory quite yet, and only 200gms more than my Spector, and interestingly enough, my p bass is 4kg, with the geddy jazz coming in at 4.3kg

Heath - I find they are not the lightest and they are a very different animal, fun though.
