These strings are awesome. I got exposed to them last year as they are shipped standard with new LEJ basses. My new hollowbody LEJ arrived with them last week and they just sound perfect. Definitely confirm some prices!

Next order of R.COCCO strings to land soon guys. Getting Nickel in this time also so you have a choice. Pricing stays same for both variants. Also pushing for RIchard Bona signature strings which are supposed to be AMAZING.

Hey Jon - Mine are sitting at the post office waiting for me to collect today, so will be on the basses this weekend! Let me know when the nickels land and I will grab some for the other half of my basses and compare the 2. I think this could the first time 4 of my basses all have "new" strings at the same time!!

Looking forward to Thursday!

Jon - just put the R.Cocco's on my Stingray5 today, and haven't really played 'em yet, but DAMN!! These are some great sounding strings - and they feel great for stainless!

Last set of stainless I tried they came off after about 5 mins because they were hideous and rough, but these feel as nice as my Fodera nickels.

As for sound, they are mighty bright straight up. Will be interesting to hear how they age and how quickly this brightness takes to come off. They are definitely brighter than the Foderas - and much more than whatever the previous owner had on the Ray - I had to wind the treble back on the eq.

I have a feeling I will really like these. Will stick the 4 string set on my custom jazz in the next day or so. It currently has Fender nickels on there - and I can already tell these will KILL the Fenders!!

Will definitely get some nickels off you once they are in stock to compare the 2 but I think for the price, you may have converted me after all of 5 minutes!!

The only thing I noticed is that my tuner had issues picking up the low B - and it's not that it feels loose, but the tension might not be right there for me - at least on the stingray with the 125 (I know stingrays come stock with a 130 B string), but I will work with it for now, and might look at going the 130 when it comes time to restring - who knows when that will be though!!! Will still be going 125 on the Miller when I get strings for that though.

Top work getting such great strings over here!!

Yep - played them for about an hour today and they are great!

And my tuner is now picking up that B string fine, so scrap what I said in the last post.

Feel great - sound great! VERY HAPPY!!

doesn't look like it...just stainless rounds & nickel rounds...

if you're looking for top-shelf flats, TI is the way to go...
