ROCKCASE BASS GUITAR MULTIPLE CASES

Post by Dominant Music » 27 May 2010, 16:06

THE IDEAL WAY TO MOVE MULTIPLE BASSES ON THE ROAD SAFELY OR THE PERFECT STORAGE SOLUTION AT HOME OR IN THE STUDIO

These super cases are available as guitar or bass version and are available for 3 or 5 instruments. 10 mm / 0.4" thick plywood gives great strength. They are covered in a heavy duty hard wearing Black tolex. 2 retractable spring mounted handles. 2 Solid recessed wheels allow easy moving of the case. 4 Rubber base feet keep the case elevated. 2 PVC rails on the back side allow sliding the case in and out of your car a breeze.

The interior features plush soft lining that is cushioned to protect your guitar. The guitars fit comfortably in there slot and lock in place with a padded neck support and the inside edges are lined with foam.

THESE CASES FEATURE MANUFACTURE DEFECTS. DUE TO EXTREME HEAT IN SHIPPING THE FOLLOWING DEFECTS HAVE OCCURRED:

BLACK TOLEX OUTER HAS BUBBLED

THE INTERIOR LINING GLUE HAS MELTED AND THE FOAM LINING HAS LIFTED

THE BLACK TOLEX EDGES ON THE TOP HAVE COME UNGLUED

THESE DO NOT EFFECT THE STRENGTH OF THE CASE AT ALL. THEY CAN EASILY BE REPAIRED AND RE GLUED.

TAKE OUT ADVANTAGE OF THESE DEFECTS AND GRAB A TRUE BARGAIN

AUCTION STARTS FROM $19.99

Find them here: http://stores.shop.ebay.com.au/dominant ... ec0Q2em322

Hey,

They are all just on auction, with no buy it now price. Shipping to Brisbane is $35.

Other freight quotes are in the description.

Thanks guys!

So, who got one? I scored a 3 bass unit, but I noticed there were two people fighting hard for the other 3 items. Any OzBassers get lucky?

They all went for around $120, compared to the retail price of around $350

Hi Mark

I'd be interested in knowing how damaged they are when you get yours. I know we weren't bidding against each other. I started the bidding on the one that no-one had started on at the time. I put the token amount on and then didn't check back before it finished. Keep doing that... :cry Good thing I don't need one. Good idea though but not sure it's $350 worth??

Yeah I was one of them fighting for all of them lol

I scored the very last one for $128.50, I was starting to freak out since I got outbid on the other 3

That case is going to be welcome, I'm always struggling for finding storage space for my in progress instrments, I end up having parts all over the place and drive myself crazy. :rolleyes yep, now there will finally be a dedicated spot for them! :yep

Note to Dominant:

Your eBay listing states postage to Sydney is $20. Your eBay invoice states postage is $16. But then after the invoice has been paid you send an additional Paypal request for an extra $10 to cover postage. And a few minutes later, another Paypal invoice for $3.85 arrives! I don't have a problem with the postage amount, but the apparent confusion at your end doesn't look very professional.

you should report it to ebay
it seems to me a way to scam more money away from the ebay site

Hey AussieMark,

There $3.85 was charged to make it up to the $20 Charge, these have to go via courier and the $20 is under our cost. Thanks for paying this, the case is on its way to you. Ebay generates the $16 freight cost automatically on incorrect dimensions - its hard to explain, but the dimensions of this case wont register with the correct freight options on ebay so we have to put in mock ones. This is why freight costs are written in the description.

Sorry about the $10 request, that is for another buyer and was addressed to him, but sent to your email - an error on my part.

Hope you enjoy the cases!

Hey Bugsy!
Just want to confirm this ISN'T a ploy 'to scam more money'. We are an open book to you guys with our own forum like this, and welcome constructive criticism, but that's a little unfair.
Thanks !!

no problem, if it was a mistake
but Im skeptical of everything over the internet, especially as the poster mentioned of the added freight payments after the finish of the auction.
Thats how i read the situation from the post.
But if you have it all worked out , then that great
