5 Basses Competition- We have a winner!

Post by Bass People » 09 Aug 2012, 15:08

Hey gang, Adrian at the shop here.

I was doing some recording for our soundcloud today- http://www.soundcloud.com/bass-people-sydney

Joel and I decided to have some fun. We've recorded 5 basses, a nice simple line on each. We'll give you the names, you have to put them in order. Just for a laugh!

Here's the link to the recording-

http://soundcloud.com/bass-people-sydney/5-basses-comp

the 5 basses are as follows-

Ken Smith BSR 4 String
MTD 535
Pedulla Rapture 5
Ibanez Prestige Grooveline
Lakland Skyline 55-02

You put them in order!!! And show your working... "I think bass no.1 is the Smith because ....." etc..

The first person to get 5 out of 5 wins a set of DR Bootzillas! You can choose a 4 or 5 string set.

One entry per person, and lets have some fun with it- comical answers get a consolation prize.

Get to it!

I should also add- all the basses were recorded in exactly the same manner. Direct into my Mbox Mini. No smoke, mirrors, compressors or EQ.

I'll give it a go when I get home. I'm really only familiar with the Burner and the 55-02 sound-wise, so I think I will do as poorly as the next guy.
