CLOSE THIS ONE TOO PLEASE.

Post by Jordan » 07 May 2013, 20:40

Hey guys,

While I'm still deciding what to do with my life I thought I'd keep myself out of trouble building some pedals. I've built a few clones and a couple of custom pedals for some of the guys here and really enjoyed it. So I figured out put myself out there and let everybody know that I'm building pedals now.

Most of my stuff is built point-to-point, with the more complex circuits on PCBs. I prefer to use point-to-point whenever I can though. Obviously I'm using quality components and hardware. Etching is usually my preferred finish, even though it can get time consuming. I'm pretty flexible with designs, as long as its not anything ridiculous. No Sistine Chapel etches. :rolf:

You might have seen my stuff around here. Check out my Facebook page in my sig if you haven't, I threw up some photos of a few recent builds. If you want a hand-built pedal, let me know. Pricing can vary depending on the effect and finish, contact me.

TL:DR - I'm building pedals now, want anything? :drinkingbuddies:

I don't have any clips of the current pedals on my FB page. I dug up those pics from somewhere on my hard drive - just the ones I had on hand. Unfortunately I didn't think about recording clips at the time. :banghead:

I'll be sure to record clips of any future pedals I build.

Actually, I might have clips of the Ezekiel 25:17 floating around... I'll have a dig.

EDIT: Here we go, found 'em. I start each clip with my clean tone, then play the riff on each diode setting. IIRC the filter and blend were at 50%, and the gain was increased with each clip. Signal chain was Ibanez SR500 (w/ DR high beams) > Ezekiel 25:17 Replica > interface > Cubase 6. For some reason I'm having trouble capturing low end through this setup. So the clips don't give a good representation of the low end the thing has. Excuse my useless playing. :/
