Someone to watch

Post by Slapfest62 » 17 Feb 2018, 11:17

This kid can play.
Started playing when he was 7, and I dont know how old he is now, . . maybe 12?
He has a youtube channel with versions of seriously tough tunes for players of any age,
and plenty of improvising.
Here's a minor loop improv, and a fretless version of Teentown.

Impressive stuff. He's not the norm though is he. Most kids that age are a pain because they won't practice.

No, he's FAR from the norm ,
and considering that he's been playing for 5 years, I think he might be getting the hang of it . . . lol

I was just looking at his recent effort (below)at soloing over "Havona",
and putting his own spin on it.
The feel and depth he has acheived in that 5 years leaves me gobsmacked
A player like Mohini Dey has had nearly 20 years to get to where she is now . .
Gabriel has a very bright future.
I'm not his publicist or anything,
you just dont see this kind of talent often, if ever.
