That looks amazing.
It is. These are beasts and this is an unusual one in being so beautifully flamey.
I recognise the bass from when it sold before and I am pretty sure I know the guy selling it from Talkbass TBird Club and the Last Bass outpost.

I have only had the TB+ equipped ones but I hear these are even more in your face.
@Aussie Mark has had the ones with Barts I think.
Happiness is .......a Telebass and 500W.

No, mine had the TB+ pups combined with a Bart preamp. It was yuuuuge sounding, that's for sure

Want a rock and roll weapon?
Fortunately, for me I have just bought a bass.

I remember trying this model out many years ago, I really liked it but it was too pricey for me at the time. It sounded great though.

Not eBay but a well priced Sadowsky SA200, $2500. I bought a demeter DI from this guy and he was good to deal with.

Were these made in the 80s? If so, I didn't realize. Thought they were a post 2000 model. Still.. is a nice one.

The original ones were subject to a few truss rod problems, ISTR.

Loved coming across this bit of feedback on an online bass purchase:
" arrived very quickly, had to be tuned first though, I thought it would come playable"

Luckily I have a couple of LPBs and a Pelham Blue Midtown or this would be very tempting, even at the premium price.

Seems not that good with pics. It’s a store in Geelong so I assume legit.
