Re: Sydney GTG 2019.... who’s interested??

Post by BassLine » 01 Mar 2019, 22:36

Well - ten days to vote is plenty, thanks for everyone taking the time to do that so promptly (all done in the first six days actually).

So 15th June had the most votes = is the best date for the most number of people. Our sincerest apologies to anyone who might have missed out this year.

Now, to find a suitable venue.....

Excellent. I'll rework my travel plans slightly so I can make it. I'll be the guy with no gear on the green motorbike that'll be filthy from being ridden from Hervey Bay QLD!

Any ideas of where to hold this event?

Anyone with connections to a hall or Room that available on 15th June?

Sorry for not getting back to you all about this. I can do June 15th. I also might have a possible hall. I'll need to talk to my boss about that possibility. We might need to make a donation of some sort.

That would be absolutely sensational Pete. Let us know the verdict.

OK, Good news. We have a venue!

If everyone wanted to kick in a little bit of money for a donation/electricity/cleaning that would be great. I think we can choose what time of day we'd like. We'll be in the small hall, which is carpeted. So (unlike the hall) it shouldn't be too echoey.

If we can just decide on a time that would be great. That way I can make sure it's booked in the calendar at church.

10-2pm was suggested earlier as “advertised time”.

For booking purposes only, is 10-3pm or 10-4pm available and able to be booked? Pack down takes ages & eliminates rushing.
