Dangit, the fretboard is ebony and quite lovely looking but too small for your needs. Double dratt!

Absolutely the Warwick theme.

I’ll whip something up tomorrow in the shop. Will try to give it an extra 10 mm each way and a little thicker than 10 mm (say 12) since you don’t have a flat surface to work with.

Michael

The exact size is 63x93, so even 70x100 would be heaps, I have a mill in my workshop at work so all good there and the corvette body is flat too, again, many many thanks legends!

Yeah I was gonna say corvettes get very flat on the front and back, just those rounded phallic horns!

If you wanted something more in line with the body colour, I'll check my stash for a spotted gum with a similar grain pattern to the corvette. PM me your email and I can send you a picture.

And just so that you have too many options..

I have some Walnut and Gidgee that might also suit. I'm also in the shop tomorrow with Michael so I'm sure we can sort you out.

Hi Heath,

This is what I have for you. 12 mm thick, and plenty in length and width. Front and back:

Just pm me your posting address. If you could pay for postage that would be good - I'll pm you my bank account details Monday.

Just be careful with the wenge - it tends to "crack" along the grain if you're not careful, the splinters are pretty bad, and it stinks when you sand it ;) .

Regards,
Michael
