Matt from Salt Mine Repairs Darlinghurst

Post by specitim » 27 Mar 2018, 15:18

Just took one of my Laklands into Matt at Salt Mine for a refret. Ended up spending a good 40 minutes chatting, he is such a knowledgeable guy and has a great price too! If you are in Sydney and near CBD, very easy to get to - putting new jumbo frets on for me :)

Matt also had a beautiful Wal in the workshopthat he has borrowed from a mate (so that he could have a look at the filter controls) which he allowed me to drool over (I have photos!)

Looks like it, doesn't it? Probably the glue line from bookmatching the top.

Those filter controls are insane! So much variety in there...
And I was surprised at the neck profile - big. But straight as steel.
Matt does great setup work.
