I stumbled on this an wondered if any of you folks at David's guitar school are doing anything like this. Looks cool.

I’m a pretty conservative and traditional builder so totally too out there for me, George.

Ot the best of my knowledge this has not been tried at the MSGM.

- Merlin “Kermit” 6 multi, Merlin Gaia 6 fretless, Merlin Rockmachine 5, Merlin NT5, Manta 5, Manta 5 YOLO, ("Red Baron" 5), Q 5, (Sandberg Classic S2-5), (Thumb-4)

Dingwall offer it, so it can't be that bad.
* 2 Stingray 5's (one heavily modded), Ibanez SR805, Ashbory, + more...
* Carvin B1500, Epifani PS1000, Ashdown Superfly amps.
* Lots of DIY neo/lightweight cabs including one made from composites

I'm a fan since seeing those late 80's or early 90's "JEM" guitars by Ibanez (the Steve Vai model) where they had a fluro swirl which is now often affectionately known as "clown puke".

The good folk at MSGM do indeed know about this technique. I kinda think David was hoping no one would want to go down this path :rollno:

Doesn't look too eco friendly either. But I've got to admit that it does look good.
