The Germans are amateurs when it come to bad electronics. If you really want to experience bad electricals, buy French... or not.
Not even a patch on the Brits - I've owned 2 Triumphs and a Rover. Electricals made by Lucas: The Prince of Darkness

Re: His Master's Voice

But I was watching videos the other day of old people trying to use the "ok Google" function, and my phone never responded to it? With Google, you have to train it to recognise your particular voice. Alexa, at least when it was new, responded to anyone. With home automation, there were even a few "...

Re: Rant Thread !

Let's get this thread back on track. Dog owners who do not pick up after them. It's everywhere. Currently averaging one shoe cleaning per fortnight even being careful and constantly watching my feet when I walk on the grass near my place. Total ass hats. Grrrr! The local council even increased the ...

Re: FS: Fender Bassman 610 Neo Cab - $1000 [SYD]

The Fender tolex is bulletproof, and the cab has wheels, skid rails and handles. I would be quite comfortable shipping it as is, with the cover. Boxing it up adds extra bulk and removes all the ergonomic handling features that are built in. I shipped an Epi610 cab without any packaging at all. If yo...

Re: Five weeks on US66

Thanks for sharing, Pete. What was your ride? Hyundai Accent hatch. Not flashy, but good on fuel and cheap. I feel your pain. I rented a Corolla on the east coast a few years ago and most of the time felt like I was in the smallest vehicle on the road, especially on the 10 lane freeway be...

Frydenberg was surprisingly personable and a good sport on Monday night's "Have You Been Paying Attention". He didn't miss the opportunity to have a couple of digs at Dutton though

Re: Ebay thread PART TWO - the good, bad, and ridiculous...

Are those PUs originals? Seemed weird to me. But if you want a SR sound in a LP body this would be pretty great I guess. Nope - the originals would have been Barts. MM shaped Barts? No exposed polepieces on the black covered Barts used in those Gibbys https://auctions.afimg.jp/item_data/image/20140...
