Re: Probably too fussy?

It takes me around 8 hours to fret a neck from go to whoa. I did better than that on my first try. Months in a shop means it sat for weeks without attention. It’s probably still fixable though. yeah, I have referetted a few guitars that were cheap junk that people had tossed, and I did it for pract...

Re: FS: Roger Waters Signature Fender P Bass

I hate to admit it, but it took me about 3 days to get that joke...

Re: Big Stingray changes by Ernie Ball

many of the ORIGINAL SUB "made in USA" basses had the same "Ray pickup, no preamp. as mentioned previously, they sound very similar, just without the steroids, tonewise on a personal rant/note- Yes, Stingrays ARE my favourite bass, bar none, and so lets give the man the credit he truly deserves. I'm...

Re: ONE BIG THANK YOU

thats just aweful, and a terrible shame . Hospitals and clinics ARE a haven for those terrible bugs and I know a disturbing number of people that have had bad unneccessary complications from their visits there .. IMO, light bulbs are handy , Alcohol is tricky and people have to watch how they handle...

I coluldnt seem to get the sound I wanted without it being boosted a bit ,
but maybe I wasnt twiddling right .
I thought it was a shame , because mxr are usually pretty good.

Re: Vintage Maton JB4 - Vintage meets Modern - what really should have happened.

Actually, I remember the original Jbiv as being extremely popular amongst the top professionals that i used to go see play . . Especially the fretless ones. I heard many a top pro get a punchy , kick ass cut through the mix using them Bands like Crossfire, and many other great players used them and ...
