Hi all,
If anyone has a hard case to sell to fit a Thunderbird please let me know how much you want for it and how much to ship it to Canberra.
Thanks

Re: TBird Replica Kit

Thanks all, most appreciated. On Pitbull - quality is pretty good. I mainly buy them for the body and neck as I don;t have the tools/skills to build those bits from scratch. I was originally worried about the neck to body joint in the kits but on the two I've built (and the 3rd one underway) that fi...

TBird Replica Kit

Finished this a while ago from a PitBull kit. Added an Aluma Bass Bar and basic EMG P (which I'm changing to a Dimarzio Model P shortly), Hipshot bridge and some other stuff. I smoothed the body contours out a bit, cut the pickguard from thick acrylic sheet, primed and coloured the body with automot...

Re: Body vs Kit vs Build from blank

Pitbull kits are great fun to use as a starting point. Most of the hardware isn't great but you can put any hardware/finish on it that you want without risking an expensive body/neck. The forums are also very helpful and good fun. Thanks billb - have you built one ? Yep, worked out better than expe...

First timer

Well, 18 months ago I took up the bass again after 20 years (I was rubbish back then and I still am - but I really enjoy it :) ). So then I decided to build a bass. I don;t have access to a full workshop, nor do I have the skill (yet) to build a neck from scratch or or shape a body completely so I b...

Re: Gig/gear and Family friendly cars

I drive ~700kms/wk, on a mix of dirt, good rural and city roads. I have a Hyundai Santa Fe which is huge inside, diesel so cheap to run for it's size and has plenty of power and torque for overtaking, hills, towing etc. All seats can fold completely flat so it makes tetrising stuff really easy. You ...

1 bass, 2 amps?

OK, this is probably a dumb question but I'm full of them. I want to know if I can run two separate amps at once using the two stereo outputs of a pedal. I particularly want to know if there's any chance of damaging anything if I do! Any other comments you may have would also be appreciated. The amp...
