Re: DSL Straps max length?

They do custom straps. I had two made up to my specifications years ago. Thanks. I tried contacting them again and this time received a response. The page I was looking at didn't have a length option. They sent a link to the same strap I'd been checking out and the option to select the length majic...

Might have to bite the bullet and set up a facebook account. The things we have to do for art, eh?

Finding a drummer?

Any one have a drummer stuck down the back of their couch? Our previous drummer isn't around anymore. We have adverts up at Bandmix and (the extremely dodgily named) Rockstar Hookups and are turning up nothing. There's me on Thunderbird, a guitarist/singer and a violinist/guitarist/bouzouki player. ...

Sheet of plywood cut to fit the front grille (with a smaller bit to protect the back connector panel) and then a few rounds of bubble wrap and packing tape -- with wheels and handles exposed.

Re: Warwick Gig Bags?

Thanks.

I ordered an RB20505B from Germany for €35+PP -- it fits the JAEbird nicely. I'm still considering whether or not a gig bag is suitable for the J neck on my non-reverse Bird. It's a few centimetres too long for the JAEbird bag.

Re: P Bass Pickup suggestions

Now you found the pickup to try EDIT.... I was thinking tone pots. Volume is all the same, on full you get full signal, and as you turn it down more signal is bled to ground. Get a decent smooth action pot they all do the same job. CTS will do. And one volume knob if that’s all you use then that’s ...

Re: NtmBD Cataldo JAEbird #4

Kat? What strings did you put in the JAEbird? Ken Smiths? I got the others, thanks. Yeah, Ken Smith Bass Burners 45-105. Considered others but the Smiths last forever. They have that nickel warmth and none of the squitchyness you tend to get with fresh rounds. Hope you like the chromes. I...

Re: NtmBD Cataldo JAEbird #4

Just back from practice. The non-reverse 'KatBird' was out today. The JAEbird is going nowhere until the gig bag I ordered for it arrives. The Orville or NR41KB in an Epi case with cables, picks, earplugs and whatever else is shoved in there is 10kg. The JAEbird in its case with nothing else weighs ...

Re: NtmBD Cataldo JAEbird #4

^ bahaha! BTW, why is it that I can totally leave TBs generally, but you post that picture of the crappiest looking 'bird in history and I LOVE it. Because it has the mojo. If I put down here what I think of Jazz basses, I'd probably be banned. We all have our likes and dislikes.
