Re: Amp facing forward or rear-ward...?

Sounds like a sound desk or sound person problem to me, too. I've come across plenty who can't tell one deep sound from another and turn the bass guitar down because the keyboard is too boomy.... One good way to deal with this is to get a bit of gaffer tape and tape the keyboard player's left hand ...

Re: Amp facing forward or rear-ward...?

I always used my amp as a foldback in a tllt-back configuration (it is designed to do this) and then I went to FOH. My volume on stage was only enough for me to be confident of what I was playing. Since we used electronic drums, not much stage level was required (80dB probably). . While I did care a...

Re: What's your favourite SNACK FOOD??

according to Aidrian the "Bad Chef" from Good Chef Bad Chef, when you cook with butter, the bad parts of the butter magically vapourise into the atmosphere, leaving only the healthy tasty butter :rolf: He is absolutely correct! If it tastes good, it MUST be good for you! On top of the car...

Re: What's your favourite SNACK FOOD??

snack food? Where do I begin... for a guy who's lost 12kg in the last 3 years, my diet is DISGUSTING! I eat cookies, donuts, cakes, chocolate (prefer dark)... The trick for me is to not eat "too" much of the stuff, to drink plenty of water, eat enough protein and good fats (like avocados), and to ex...

Re: FS- Cole Clark Long Lady 5 - $2550 shipped

aw... good luck with the sale, man... sorry to hear that it's not gelling for you. I've had basses with nitro on the neck before... not so much an issue for me as my thumb print stays pretty dry and slippery.... but I get what you're saying. I noticed the strap button position on the bottom... I get...

Re: Political Affiliation - which side are you on?

I'm affiliated with my belief system, not politics.

I don't believe in "political affiliation". I believe that doing so introduces "Us vs. Them" mentality.

I voted "far right", but if I could vote again, I'd vote "far left". :D

Re: Prime minister

Shorten must think someone has hit him with the lucky stick. He WAS hit with a lucky stick... Bill Shorten (aka "Will Shorten"), will shorten the term of any prime minister he has dealings with, regardless of party... As far as I'm seeing it right now, preferred PM should be Scott Cam from "The Blo...

Password breaches are really only critical when people reuse passwords. Don’t do that.
How do you remember passwords for all the sites you visit if you don’t reuse?
I have a system, but I worn't divulge mine.

The key is to find a system... mine's pretty good. (I think).

although I never used them, I hate to see any business that supports musos close.
especially, these great, little niche businesses that loyal customers come to love.

great excuse to keep the bass... There are things that you could do (such as some sort of interesting inlay where the crack is)... but why would you? you've got another great bass.... WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! Look, Kerry, It's actually hardly noticeable so I won't bother doing anythi...

Re: Cole Clark Long Lady 5

I'd love to know a little more about how the headstock is fitted to the top of the neck. It is obviously an entirely different piece of timber, rather than an extension of the neck. I'd like a bit of detail on how it is joined. I suspect that there is a dovetail involved coming from that triangular ...
