Swap/Trade EMGJJ set for EMGPJ

Hi all! Long time no post.. Anyhoo, like the header says does anyone out there have an EMGPJ set in their parts box and are looking for a JJ set? I have a JJ set with little use (although I've had them a long time) they have the plug in looms. I recently got a very cheap PJ bass that I thought would...

Not better, just a little different!😎

I wonder if the TA2 could be combined in the same way with the octave pedal? (Another of my favourites..)

The return of Heath's designs (sort of)

This is a hybrid of a Wasp pedal (when it is on) and a Tig...

Re: Erics lightweight bass cabs in Sydney

I have the 1x12 neo cab for my LB30 it suits it very well. I had it in the cab shootout a few years ago. The consensus was (I think) that it moved plenty of air but was not as refined sounding as cabs that cost a lot more... So value for money, it gets a big Yes! But there are better cabs out there ...

All sounds like a good idea. The variable Lpf would also cater to 8 string basses..

Re: Cave - Tight Ar$e (Thumpinator)

I've just tested one that Heath sent me. It works as advertised and while it may not be necessary on a practice room amp, I think it may just be the think for my Ashdown LB-30 that can get a few stray Blorfs coming through the speaker. Now I just need a gig to test it out....

Huge old "W" bin with Etone 150w speaker "Free"

Yup I have the giant W bin that provided the bass backline for Col Joy and Johnny O'Keefe. It's a 50kg blue monster that can make the meekest amp rattle the walls. I had it plugged into a Roland Cube and a Ashdown LB30 and the subs are very impressive. However I'm moving and can't take it with me. S...

Re: WTB: Ashdown LB30

They are great amps and a good set of tubes really lets them shine.
They are prone to board issues and dry joints, I have had mine re soldered and it's now 100% reliable.
The tone stack is versatile but not intuitive so they can take a while to learn..
