FS '79 Musicman Sabre

Post by thedudeabides » 12 Aug 2018, 13:05

Hey Folks, up for grabs is this beautiful 1979 Musicman Sabre Bass. This bass has been owned by a couple of OBF members before I become its caretaker around a year ago.
1st year of production, C00 serial number.
The phase and treble cut switches have been changed to coil taps for each pickup to give more variety of tones. P Bass, 55 P Bass, Jazz Bass, Stingray, PJ, and modern 2HB, this guy can cop them all. Has a Hipshot Detuner on the E.
Neck has very recently been refretted and refinished. Setup with dAddario Chromes. No case. Looking for $2450 elsewhere, but $2250 for OBF members, which is below what I've got in it. Pics thru link ⬇️ Cheers.
Bass or Cab trade enquiries welcome.
