Very interested in one of these basses, I hopefully will get a chance to try one out this weekend up here. I've been in contact with Cole Clark about the various options etc. and am waiting to hear back from them re the colours etc. The more I look at these the more I like and the less chance of a custom Dingwall is on the books :)

Heath, do you know if the preamp still works in passive mode (IE without batteries?)?

Not sure, I'll try it later, pulling the volume knob out is an active/passive switch so i imagine so :hmm

I watched that interview - these things seem super cool and very aspirational. I liked the ‘entry level’ Blackwood top the best.

I’m sure Neil Kennedy scoffed at string through body at the bridge, yet the ones I’ve seen while googling seem to have the ‘holes’ for string through body. Amused me once I saw it.

Same thing with the brass but, but yeah the bridge is capable of through body and on bridge stringing, I've got mine through bridge at the moment
