part of me wants the Poms to win so they'd shut up about 1966 but mostly I want them to lose in a shootout hehe

Mbappé (French player) did get a yellow for an Oscar-worthy performance.
Saw that. Deserved it.

Yeah I tend to agree, but this Cup has shown all of us, that favouritism counts for nought.
I think this cup has shown us that whilst the gap between the barely-average teams (think Socceroos) and the good teams is still there, the gap between the good teams and the great teams is getting smaller.

this could easily be our last appearance at a World Cup for a while. We assumed we'd continue improving from 2006 but our current team isn't a shadow of that team. We were embarassing this time around. No chance of scoring a goal unless the ref helped us.

Yup, anyone can win on the night, yellow cards and suspensions, injuries etc. all play a part. Who would have forseen Brazil's stunning loss in the final last year.

The final is going to be an epic David v Goliath.

I hope Croatia win, but I fear France may very well take it.

Anything could happen on the day though.

What a great match. So much will and determination from the Croats. The fatigue would have kicked in from previous games i reckon.

I’m feeling The fatigue from the lack of sleep and delayed flights too!
