Congrats.
Ain't none better than the VR & ..the Super Bassman, 300w from 6x 6550s, in the is amazing and the most touch sensitive amps I've ever had the pleasure of using. :notworthy:

It was a Kermit sort of night - nothing says "blues" more than a 6 string unlined fretless ;) .

Couldn't imagine gigging without the Genzler rig, anything you throw at it it handles with ease. Absolutely love it.

Michael

Is the little brother a 112? How's the volume go keeping up with a band? I tried them in store and was impressed but it's always different on stage next to drums

No, the little brother is a SL410x. I previously had a pair of SL112s but found they weren't loud/punchy enough in a band situation particulary with rock (its a worry when a guitarist asks you to turn up) but the guy who bought them and who plays in a Beatles tribute band loves the 12's with a TH500.

Eesh. I though it was a db112

I guess I'm just bit too eager for mine to arrive.

How does the sl go against the db410?

No a DB410 and SL410x (although I also have a pair of DB112s which are great with the TH500).

I have yet to test the SL410x at a big gig with the the DB751 but will do in a few weeks time. I find the SL410x surprisingly warm compared to other neo cabs I have owned/played/heard and it actually has perhaps more bottom end than the DB410, but the DB cabs all have a nice rich tone strong in the mids which holds together at higher volumes.

Aggie Th500 on a pair of DB 112s
On the right
SWR chrome face 350 on a pair of SOB 115s (all pre fender)
With the Jankstang that I completed at MSGM earlier this year in the middle
