Traded

Post by thorne_92 » 02 Jul 2018, 13:34

Hey guys, recently acquired a sandberg in a trade and am looking to trade it for another sandberg with two jazz pickups rather than the P and Musicman style pickups this one has. The bass is in great condition and I absolutely love it and that's why I'm only chasing another sandberg. I'll link to the thread I originally got it in which has photos and some more details. Thanks guys. located kingswood 2747. Must be 5 string too.

Why not one of each? The VM5 is an awesome bass, and completely different to the TT5...
Eleven. Exactly. One louder.

after considering it over the last few days I have decided that I'm gonna try and trade for a US P bass or an AVRI. I originally traded my P bass for this sandberg but I miss the P. After going through a lot of basses I think a P with flats is THE sound. I miss the basicness of a passive P with volume and tone. If you want to trade hit me up. I'd prefer sunburst and a rosewood fingerboard. Thanks

Have you tried flats on the Sandberg? I use flats on my VM4 - fantastic sound. And with the tone rolled back on front pickup, it gets super vintage sounding.
Bass: Sandberg, Dingwall
Rig: Ampeg SVT-VR, Bergantino NV610T, Forte, Reference 322, IP310
Pedals: Tym, Wren and Cuff, Strymon, Darkglass

Yep, for some reason I'm just not gelling with it on the level of my P bass. Whether that's just in my head or not I'm not sure haha
