SOLD

Post by DamoMan » 17 Jun 2018, 13:43

Hello you beautiful bass playing bastards!

I am getting back into it after a bit of a lapse.

My band has drastically downsized, no longer competing with halfstacks. I never thought I would do this but I am letting the NV610 and Sunn 1200s go.

Photos up! (sorry I couldn't get embedded photos working today...Let me know if the links provided aren't working.)

Bergantino NV610 - SOLD

Sunn 1200s

Later rebranded to the fender bassman 1200 pro. Absolute beast. 800w at 4 ohm or 1200 at 2 ohm. Graphic Eq, built in blendable OD channel. Built in dual band compressor. The only thing it doesn't do is actually play the instrument for you. Everything is Bypassable if you prefer to keep the signal clean and clear. Includes a custom 2u metal rack I got from the first owner and the footswitch.

Capable to registering on the Richter Scale if that's what you need.

*EDIT FOR PRICE DROP*

I paid $1200 used quite a number of years ago now, I know most people want class D and light weight, so I'll list this at absolute bargain price of SOLD

Also some of the pots have a little bit of dust, just needs a bit of a spray if it bothers you.

With the Berg gone, I understand this may be less attractive. Price drop for OzBassForum Members only at this stage. The other spots it will stay at $700 for a little bit longer

LESS THAN $1 per watt at 4 ohm :)

Once again, happy to ship at buyers expense.

Man I have no money, but that Sunn is so tempting. Whoever ends up with it is getting an amazing deal
Originally this was where all the people I've sold/gotten gear from that went well, but I haven't met a bad person yet :D

Thanks to giggawazza for the Bongo.

The Sunn 1200s is a beast of an amp. It was what started me looking at the 300T and then the Super Bassman that I have now. Don't need another, but keep looking at this thread.

Thanks for the kind words Veldar and Rocksolid.

Yes the Sunn is an absolute monster, in tone and power...If I was still competing with Half Stacks or had that in my future, this stuff wouldn't be going anywhere!

It's a pity Fender killed the line when they did, these amps never really got the rep they deserve.

@veldar will entertain any serious offer ;)

Tube amp and NV610 is a tone match made in heaven. Since I got that rig I haven’t even looked at a demo of any other gear. Highly recommended!

Yep the sunn 1200 is a Solid State Power Section with tube preamp section. The old "Lead Sled" variety of Solid State.

It's 15.9 Kg on its own. The custom built metal case is probably adds another 5ish sort of Kilos.

Yep, the NV610 had the same effect on me, it's one of those cabs that just keeps sounding better as you push it. Absolute monster. It loved the 1200s, I can only imagine the 300T would have knocked walls down!

Such a good form factor. High off the ground to actually hear yourself, small enough to fit in the back of a hatch. Hit me up once you move the mesa!

Hey mate,

Depth is 38.1cm will fit in a standard 2ru rack if you're looking to re house it.

Overall dimensions if the head are

8.9x48.3x38.1

If you need exact size and weight with the head in the current rack let me know I'll head over to my parents place and measure it today.
