Bass Tone in a song you'd love to have in live performances

Some of you know that I'm on a slippery slope to building my pedal but for a start I'd like to achieve this tone that's been alluding me ever since. Feel free to post the song that you'd love to have the bass tone as well. Here's the song, it's Without Words by Park Shin Hye from the Korean series You're Beautiful.

Back in the 90s, I chased these tones for a while...



Jimmy Haslip on a fretted bass would you believe.



Some really tasty snappy bits. I don't know much was keyboard though.

for me it's all about the Precision bass and getting that tight fat warm tone

I dont know how to post videos, but for a punk tone this is absolutely it for me, and damned if I can get it
