Great customer service from Schaller

Post by jcburn » 07 Dec 2017, 17:23

Hey everyone...just thought I'd report this here, hoping this is the correct spot.
I recently emailed Schaller as I had noticed the little screws and fastening bushes had wriggled free and been lost on my Fender branded BML clover lites.
Not only did a rep get back to me same day, but they identified the parts and sent them to me free of charge. Received them today.
Great customer service.

Yeah I think so mate. They clover part is metal but the main housing is a composite plastic type material. The part i lost is a little screw and washer\bush from the bottom of each unit that holds the tuner in place.
I'll pm you now, although all I did was go to the Schaller website and filled out their contact web form.

Exactly the same screws! Funny, I tried the web form twice and nothing, that was a few years ago though. See how email goes, thanks again!

Well, screws and bushings arrived, they sent me a stack, so if anyone else needs screws and bushings for the Fender/Schaller lite tuners in chrome let me know.

The screw and bushing from this style you can see at the bottom of the peg holding in the tuning key.

Thanks again jcburn!

all companies could take a leaf out of their book, awesome.

Hipshot were similarly amazing to me too, wonder why the guitar/bass hardware companies are so good and everyone else so bad?
