Now this interview with Neil Kennedy re Cole Clark Basses definitely deserves a thread of it's own.

Thanks for the share mate! It was really fascinating hearing Neil's thoughts on the bass building process and talk about why he chooses one thing over another etc; I hope his new range of basses do well here as it's great to have instruments made with indigenous woods of such high calibre.
PS If you don't have time to sit in front of your computer for an hour or so to watch these interviews you can access the audio only version as a Podcast over on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, Blubrry etc;

Great to see such nice basses being built here and shipped OS. Just goes to show how great Aust timbers are too. :)

Agreed! As a migrant to this fair land it's fascinating to see all the different kinds of unique timbers you have down here, hopefully it's a sign of things to come :)
