Seeing as this is going pretty fast I'm going to order chrome C style ultralites from Hipshot and A style bridge along with Nordstrand Fat Stacks (I know you'll hate me Kerry :D) I'm also thinking of sunbursting this baby

When you route out a cavity with a template, are the corners always slightly rounded?

Thanks Matt :)

Yeah the corners are rounded, you can buy smaller diameter bearing bits but you do have to sharper some corners once in a while, the corners of P and J pickup routs for example needs to be sharpened to fit the pickups in correctly, I just go over it with a smaller diameter bit after marking out the lines so I don't cut too much and make an ugly corner. On some other occasions like on block inlay routs you need a sharp corner, for that I cut it with a chisel, I've got a small 90 degree/corner chisel that's perfect for the job, makes perfect corners

You're considering a burst top... are you considering a tri-burst, a '59 style burst (2-tone), or something a bit more "out there"?

Probably a standard three tone burst but with a thinner dark edge to obscure the spalt a little bit less

Damn.

Maybe a huge bet on the Seahawks to win the Superbowl, Kerry? :D

I'd love to buy this bass, Blaine & Phil, but alas, I cannot. I can't help following this thread, through, so you'll have to wipe my drool of the bass every so often. Sorry!
Michael.
PS: referring to me as young went down a treat at our place.
