I looked, but it IS 10 April not 01 April

not sure about this, I DON'T wanna see Stevie Nicks butcher Crowded House songs that's fer sure. But Neil with Mick and John might be something really special :)

I heard this today... They fired Lindsey Buckingham...

Mike Campbell, former Heartbreaker guitarist is also joining up. He's a fantastic talent and will fit in quite well.

Yeah, saw it.
Will Fleetwood Mac change the key for all their songs? I think not.... Stevie loves an F. Will Tim be able to sing in a key without a Bzillion flats in it?

Funny.... we do an inordinate amount of songs from both Fleetwood Mac and Crowded House/ Split Enz. I can think of no more different bands.

Sounds like a good combination. Mike Campbell is an incredibly tasteful guitarist and Neil and Lindsay's voices aren't radically different. Huge compliment to Mr Buckingham, that they need two guys to replace him.

Maybe the naysayers are mostly from Oz & NZ.... always the way.

Globally, how many Fleetwood Mac fans know of him?
Globally, do these FM fans even know of Crowded House/Split Endz?

I'm always surprised on overseas bass forums by how much love for CH there is all over the world. They were bigger worldwide than we ever realised here in Oz

Absolutely. On the same theme, I am always surprised how popular The Church are in some circles OS.

In the Classic Albums DVD for Woodface, Tim Finn talks about how out of place he was, when not up front doing the Woodface songs. He makes a joke about not wanting to be playing a Tamborine like Stevie Nicks when he wasn't singing.
